Additional Information
With 2.Oh! Semi-Permanent Blue, you can expect a bold, vibrant
color that lasts much longer than regular dyes thanks to our advanced
MicroPure Pigments. On pre-lightened hair to a level 9/10,
our signature Blue shade can stay rich and striking for up to
12–15 washes, fading gradually and evenly without patchiness.
This makes it one of the longest-lasting colors in the range, perfect
if you want high-impact color with a smooth fade.
For lighter variations, the longevity changes slightly.
Tropical Blue, with its breezy pastel-inspired tone, lasts around
6–8 washes, while Cerulean Blue, being the most delicate, stays
for about 3–5 washes. No matter which shade you choose, all our blues
are crafted in Italy, created for India, ensuring flattering,
vibrant tones that fade beautifully while keeping your hair looking
stylish at every stage.
The best semi-permanent hair color brand is one that balances
vibrancy, durability, and hair health—and that’s the philosophy
behind 2.Oh! We offer 24 crafted-in-Italy shades made
specifically with Indian skin tones in mind, thanks to our use of
MicroPure pigments that give richer color payoff and smoother
fade. Many of our shades, like bold tones or rich browns, last up to
12–15 washes—more than typical semi-permanent brands.
We also focus on safety and nourishment. 2.Oh! formulas are
ammonia- and peroxide-free, enriched with argan oil and
sunflower seed extract, so your hair feels soft, shiny, and cared
for—even as the color fades. With hundreds of positive reviews and a
wide shade range across Blues, Browns, Pinks, Greys, and Purples (see
our collection of 24 shades), 2.Oh! stands out by delivering both
performance and gentleness.
Blue hair can look amazing on almost every skin tone—the key is
choosing the right shade. Deep, bold tones like Blue or
Midnight Blue flatter medium to deeper complexions beautifully,
adding richness and contrast. Brighter tones such as
Cerulean Blue bring a playful pop of aqua that stands out on
fairer skin, while Tropical Blue creates a cool, pastel-inspired
look that softens lighter undertones or works as highlights against
darker bases.
At 2.Oh!, all our blue shades are
crafted in Italy, created for India, so they’re designed to
compliment Indian skin tones across the spectrum. Whether you go
bold with our Blue, vibrant with Cerulean, or breezy
with Tropical Blue, each shade is powered by
MicroPure Pigments for vibrant, longer-lasting payoff. As the
color fades—whether over 12–15 washes for Blue or
3–8 washes for lighter tones—it transitions smoothly, keeping
your look stylish at every stage.
1) First Time (Bleach + Color)
Do a patch test 24 hours before.
Start with dry, unwashed hair and divide into sections.
Apply the 2.Oh! Bleach Kit with Bond-Protecting Plex until your hair
lifts to level 9/10 (for bolds) or level 10+ (for pastels).
Rinse, then wash once with the 2.Oh! Anti-Yellow Shampoo to remove
brass. Dry your hair fully.
Put on gloves and apply 2.Oh! Semi-Permanent Color generously to each
section.
Leave on for 20–30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water until it runs clear. Do not shampoo
immediately.
2) Recolor Only (Base Already Lightened)
Wash once with the 2.Oh! Anti-Yellow Shampoo if needed, then dry
completely.
Apply 2.Oh! Semi-Permanent Color to clean, dry hair—saturate well.
Leave on for 20–30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water until clear. Style as usual and reapply whenever
the color fades.
With 2.Oh! Semi-Permanent Colors, the fade is designed to be gradual
and beautiful. For most people, the color fades enough to
reapply or switch shades after a certain number of washes—usually
12–15 washes for bold shades like
Blue, Bordeaux Wine, Purple, or Hazelnut Brown,
6–8 washes for mid-tones like
Tropical Blue, Ginger Spice, or Peach, and
3–5 washes for delicate pastels like
Lavender, Steel Grey, or Cerulean Blue. At this stage, your hair is
ready to take on a fresh coat of color.
But for the shade to completely wash out and return to its bleached base,
it usually takes many more washes—and exactly how long depends on
your starting base level and the intensity of the pigment. Because our
MicroPure Pigments are so concentrated, darker shades may leave a
soft tint that lingers far longer than regular dyes. The upside: your
hair always looks stylish as it fades, with smooth transitions instead
of patchy color loss, until it finally returns to its bleached blonde
base.

Exceptional quality, premium ingredients, and cutting-edge technology come together in a process designed for perfection — with minimal human intervention.
Semi-permanent hair color is a type of hair color that lasts for several washes, typically between 6-8 weeks, and ends up fading beautifully. It does not penetrate the hair shaft deeply like permanent hair color and only coats the outer layer of the hair.
Semi-permanent hair color is usually used for enhancing natural hair color, adding shine, or experimenting with a new color without making a long-term commitment.
On the other hand, permanent hair color penetrates the hair shaft deeply and permanently changes the hair color until it grows out or is cut off. It typically contains ammonia and peroxide to open up the hair cuticle and deposit the color molecules inside the hair shaft, which can result in more significant hair damage.
Overall, the main differences between semi-permanent and permanent hair color are the longevity of the color, the level of hair damage caused, and the degree of change in hair color.
Yes, bleach is absolutely mandatory before applying your semi-permanent hair color. As the color won’t get visible on black hair.
If you have dark hair and want to achieve a lighter or brighter shade of semi-permanent hair color, you need to bleach your hair first to remove the natural pigment and create a lighter base. This will allow the semi-permanent color to show up more vibrantly and true to the shade on the packaging.
It's important to carefully read the instructions and do a patch test before applying any hair color product, especially if you are considering bleaching your hair.
A semi-permanent hair color can last for 4-6 weeks, depending on a number of variables, including the porosity of your hair, how often you wash it, how much sunlight it receives, and the kind of hair color you use. The color does, however, fades beautifully with each wash.
If you want to prolong the life of your semi-permanent hair color, you can try the following tips:
To avoid fading the color, use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners designed especially for colored hair.
To prevent fading, wash your hair less regularly. If you must wash your hair every day, you might want to use dry shampoo in between washes to remove extra oil.
Avoid using styling products like blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons on your hair since they can damage your hair and hasten the fading of the color.
To avoid UV deterioration, wear a cap or apply a hair protectant spray before heading outside.
To increase the vibrancy and sheen of your hair color between dye sessions, think about using a color depositing conditioner or a semi-permanent hair color gloss.
Remember that semi-permanent hair color is meant to fade away over time and is not intended to last as long as permanent hair color.
A form of pigment known as micro-pure pigment is one that has been extremely finely ground or micronized, resulting in particles that are smaller than those of conventional pigments. With minimal harm to the hair, these micro-pure pigments are frequently utilized in hair color products to produce more bright, long-lasting color results.
The micro-pure pigment particles' smaller size enables them to enter the hair shaft more thoroughly and uniformly, producing a more intense and consistent color coverage.
In addition, to help safeguard and nourish the hair during the coloring process, conditioning chemicals and keratin are frequently included in micro-pure pigment formulations. The danger of damage and dryness can be reduced as a result, and the hair may end up feeling and looking healthier and more vibrant.
Overall, micro-pure pigment is a crucial component of many hair color solutions, especially those intended to produce brilliant, long-lasting color results with little harm to hair.
